Email is the only channel we run. Write to [email protected] and a person will read it — there is no ticket system and no bot in between.

We aim to reply to every message within two business days, Monday to Friday, and usually sooner. Messages about a factual error in an entry are read first, so if you are writing to correct something, put the term name in the subject line.

Good reasons to write: a definition that is wrong or out of date; a term you expected to find and could not; a regional or trade usage we have missed; a licensing or attribution question about something on the site; a press or partnership enquiry. If you can, include the address of the page you are writing about.

We read everything, but we cannot promise to publish every suggestion. If a note from you changes an entry, we will write back to say thank you — we do not add contributor bylines and we do not sell coverage.
